Jordan Anderson has been writing songs since he was 14 years old. This passion for songwriting started when he received a guitar as a present for Christmas. Months later he had penned his first tune.
Growing up in the Des Moines area of Iowa, Jordan shifted his focus to jazz infused music when he moved to Nashville, TN. While attending Belmont University he “locked” himself in practice rooms to become a more polished musician and writer. Some of the songs from his debut EP, “The Popular Tree”, where written during this time.
Touring to promote his new album has kept Jordan busy for most of the year. His jazz style has been widely accepted and called “a breath of fresh air.” Expectations are high for a full album in the coming year. Learn more about Jordan at www.myspace.com/jandersonmusic.
